Monodramatic World Series (MWS) is an online osu! tournament hosted by players. I was tasked to design all graphics and website UI. I also lead the other departments to create in-game skins, website UI, and overall quality assurance to ensure our brand was being communicated correctly.
Inspiration
Visual direction was inspired by vintage film posters that relied on simplicity and bold contrast. I always was inspired by black-and-white photography accented by single red highlight. To complement this, I incorporated hand-drawn icon reminiscent of classic movie poster doodles.
